Simple QR Generator for PayNow

Make a PayNow QR code for your mobile number or business UEN. Made for merchants, hawkers and small businesses: no sign-up, and nothing you type leaves this page.

Enter a mobile number or UEN

Test before you share: scan the code with your own banking app. It should show your name as the recipient. Payers should always check the name before paying.

Questions

Is it safe?

The QR code is made entirely in your browser. Your number, amounts and references are never sent to a server. A PayNow QR only lets people pay you; it can't take money from you.

Mobile number or UEN?

Use your mobile number if it's registered for PayNow with your bank. Businesses, societies and sole proprietors registered for PayNow Corporate use their UEN.

Fixed amount or let the payer type it?

Leave the amount blank for a reusable code, like a stall's counter card. Set an amount for a one-off payment, such as an invoice or a Carousell deal.

What is the reference for?

It's pre-filled for the payer and shows up in your bank statement, so you can tell which order, student or invoice a payment is for.

How do I make a PayNow QR code for my shop, stall or business?

This is a QR code generator built for merchants. Choose "Business UEN" if your business is registered for PayNow Corporate, or use your mobile number if you're a sole trader. Add your stall or business name, leave the amount blank, and download the printable card. Print it on A6 card or photo paper and put it on your counter.

Can a QR code be for one payment only?

Set a fixed amount and an expiry date. The payer can't change the amount (unless you allow it), and banking apps refuse the code after the expiry date. Great for invoices and deposits.

How do I share a code in chat?

Use "Copy payment link" and paste it into WhatsApp, Telegram or Carousell. Or download the QR image: most banking apps can scan a QR from a photo in your gallery.
